Belatchew Arkitekter has designed an innovative and exclusive small house for JABO called Steps.

Steps is designed with a staircase leading to the roof terrace offering views and sun. Both the staircase and the house are equipped with innovative features. A bench at one of the gables conceals storage, and the stairs contain a growing tray and a retractable outdoor kitchen. Large sliding glass doors and windows on three sides make Steps a very contemporary guest house, hobby room or cottage.

Steps is produced in a panel of high-quality Siberian larch. The large sliding doors are made of black painted aluminum. The terrace is equipped with a railing in galvanized and powder-coated iron. Inside, the panel on walls and ceilings is painted white.

The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a sink that is prepared for water. There is also space for storing cushions, rakes, hoes, shovels and apple pickers.

– Steps is a small house with large spaces. It can be placed anywhere and offers many dual, and sometimes hidden, features. The bright interior makes Steps flexible and easy to furnish, says Rahel Belatchew Lerdell, CEO and founder of Belatchew Arkitekter.
