Belatchew Selected to Develop Cirkus Lorensberg in Gothenburg

Belatchew Arkitekter has been selected as one of four selected teams to develop Cirkus Lorensberg, an attractive location in the middle of central Gothenburg in order to create new homes and downtown premises.

In December 2020, Swedish real estate developer Serneke, in collaboration with the City of Gothenburg and Sveriges Arkitekter, made an open invitation for the development of Cirkus Lorensberg and a total of 21 applications were submitted. The selection among received submissions were based on an overall assessment of the organization, program and reference projects. The parallel assignment will continue during the next six months with a subsequent evaluation before the turn of the year.
