At the tip of the 200m long pier is a landmark, a portal of perforated corten that shines like a lighthouse. The portal indicates the location where a new museum has opened but is also a destination in itself from land. At the top, there is a viewing platform, accessible via stairs and elevators. A wind turbine on top of the portal generates electricity for lighting.
