Tallis is an urban block rooted in Orminge’s identity and landscape. The project forms a new layer where a robust outer edge frames a sheltered green courtyard, creating a clear meeting point between city and nature.

Along the streets, façades of reused brick provide a solid urban presence, with variations in masonry and colour referencing the area’s material history. Facing the courtyard, the architecture shifts to timber and greenery, introducing a warmer and more intimate residential scale.

The courtyard acts as the heart of the block. Inspired by woodland gardens, layered planting, stormwater management and shared outdoor spaces support biodiversity while creating spaces for everyday life.

Active ground floors with local services and shared functions contribute to safety and vitality. Reused materials, energy-efficient systems and a rational structural concept ensure low climate impact and buildability.
