Villa RBDVD, a two-storey building of 130 m2, was completed in 2004. The building is constructed out of wood, with facades clad in larch-wood panels.

The north-facing rocky site demanded an unusual floor plan. In order to access sunlight, the kitchen and living room were placed on the second floor facing a large terrace in the south, while spaces less dependent on sunlight like bedrooms and bathrooms were placed on the first floor.

The house has a small footprint because of the rocky site, which is compensated by a generous ceiling height of 3.5 metres on the second floor.

The second floor is a large and open space, with the kitchen in one end forming a room within a room. Heating is provided with geothermal energy and underfloor heating is used throughout the building.

Villa RBDVD has a reversed structure, with private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor, and social areas such as a salon and a dining room on the second floor. Top right: The upper floor has a ceiling height of 3.5 metres, which provides much space for social activities. There is also a balcony there.

Situated on a high and undisturbed hilly plot, Villa RBDVD has a level backyard with a lawn and a large terrace that is bathing in sunshine all day.
